Dr. Ahmad Allahbakhsh received his Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering from Tabrbiat Modares University on July 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Reza Bahramian.

Through his Ph.D. studies, his main work was in the field of colloidal polymer- and graphene-based hydrogels and aerogels (both theoretical and experimental studies), as well as the self-assembly of graphene quantum dots into hyper-porous hydrogels and aerogels. He also worked for several years in the field of graphene/polymer nanocomposites prior to and through his Ph.D. studies.

He joined the Department of Materials and Polymer Engineering of Hakim Sabzevari University as an Assistant Professor in 2018. Since then, he is doing research in different aspects of graphene-based nanostructures and soft matter including hyper porous nanostructures, energy management, and smart energy storage systems.
